Hi! I'm Ash, a chef and recipe developer living in Brooklyn, NY. Every other week, I send out a newsletter called Food Star, full of cooking advice and recipes centered around whole, unprocessed ingredients. If you’re in need of more vegetables and some gentle encouragement, you won’t be disappointed.

I've had the opportunity to feed people in many different capacities: as a private chef for families, as the culinary director for a meal delivery service, and in traditional restaurant/catering/corporate kitchens, as you might expect. I am a graduate of the French Culinary Institute, and I spend a lot of time studying the relationship between what we eat and how we feel. A curiosity that grew significantly while I was pursuing a certificate in nutritional therapy. I have the immense pleasure of being on the associate board of the Food Education Fund, a nonprofit that provides programming and support for culinary high school students across NYC. I believe deeply in food as a catalyst for healing on many levels, and I am passionate about everyone's ability to cook meals they love.
